I am happy to have been able to help Ven. Walpola Piyananda to locate the land on which to build houses in Kuligoda at Galagodawatte for the families affected by the tsunami disaster.

Our personal friendship has grown with the years and I consider Venerable in highest respect.

Ven. Walpola Piyananda has been successful in bringing together Hollywood Artists Alliance, the World Trust Foundation, Vietnamese, Thai, Burmese, Laotian, Cambodian, Korean, Japanese, living in U.S and the Americans of all religions to help tsunami victims of Sri Lanka by building houses for which I convey my sincere appreciation.

Ven. Walpola Piyananda has laid an indelible footprint in Buddhist History by spreading Buddhism in the U.S.A and South America.
